Join Tri-County FANS for a Spring Picnic Celebrating National Foster Care Month and the kick off of the Foster/ Adoptive Parent Association!

Main Course provided by Tri-County FANS Steering Committee.
Please bring a covered dish, drinks or bottled water.
Wristbands for swimming, miniature golf, paddle boats, batting cages – $4.00/adult & $2.00/child.
Picnic shelter includes volleyball net, playground, fire and horseshoe pits. Games for kids and drawings for adults.

The forecast isn’t looking too good right now. Hopefully the storms will move to the north of us.

We are going to have face-painting, balloon animals, drawings, games, and other activities at the shelter if the thunderstorms arrive. What a metaphor! Foster and adoptive parents deal with the storms in our children’s lives on a daily basis. Why shouldn’t we have to deal with literal storms at our picnic?!!

I got an email from someone in Johnstown, PA. A card from the balloon ended up in his backyard on Sunday June 8th. It traveled 127 miles.
