Friday July 18th at Brooke Hills www.brookehillspark.org Park at 6pm. Our garden space is to the left of the pool.
A Child’s Place CASA, Ltd. is embarking upon a therapeutic garden project to serve foster, kinship care and adoptive children in our community. A Child’s Place CASA, Ltd. would like to offer children that are victim’s of abuse and neglect the opportunity to nurture plants in a safe setting. Therapeutic Gardens across the country have proven to be a successful way to teach children about how to care for other plants and then ultimately other people. We have some seeds and a few plants in the ground- but we have more coming! Please join us on July 18th to help put them in the ground at Brooke Hills Park and plan future endeavors for our Therapeutic Garden. If you have any additional questions please don’t hesitate to ask. All family members are welcome- everyone will be warmly greeted to help us teach children how to nurture other living things.
